Vintage Parker Premier Pens
In 1983 Parker introduced the Parker Premier range of pens. Rarely do we get any examples of these now vintage and collectable pens brought into the pen shop, but this Saturday we were delighted when the ballpoint and pencil above turned up for sale in the shop. They are finished in 22crt plated fine barleycorn decoration and both the ballpoint and pencil are in mint condition and boxed. The ballpoint is twist actuated and the pencil has a button and twist mechanism. Both of these Parker Premier pens are now for sale on this Vintage Parker Pen webpage.

The limited edition Visconti Four Seasons Makie fountain pen was released in 2007 from Visconti. Earlier this month we received the first example of this hand crafted Maki-e pen. The four seasons are represented on the sides of the pen’s ebonite barrel and cap. Having been out of several colours for a while Penbox are once again stocking seven colours of the Edelstein ink from Pelikan. Edelstein (German for gem stone) ink was introduced by Pelikan in 2011 but supply of all colours has been a bit hit and miss up until now. However, for now we have seven colours in stock and will try to keep the website updated as to availability from stock. The pen shop that goes by the name of Penbox is a little jem hidden away at the top of the Fountains Court shopping area in Epworth, North Lincolnshire. This pen shop is proof that pen and ink are still loved by many in this age of keyboards and information technology. The new limited edition Montegrappa Sinatra fountain pen is an edition of 1915 fountain pens and 1915 roller balls. The pen features an 18k nib decorated with a musical staff, pinstrip decoration to the barrel and a figural microphone pocket clip. Filling is with ink cartridges or bottled ink. The pen is the third in the Icon series of limited edition pens from Montegrappa – following the Muhammad Ali and Bruce Lee. Penbox are an authorised retailer of Montegrappa pens.

We were delighted to received the latest limited edition fountain pen from S. T. Dupont. The 1001 Nights. After hearing of the pen we were quick to order the pen for display in the Dupont pen tower in the shop. However, the pen was not on display for long before being purchased. The 1001 Nights pays tribute to the dream like kingdoms in the stories of the Thousand and One Nights. The limited edition 1001 Nights fountain pen is an edition of 1001 pieces and is also available as a rollerball. Also available set with diamonds (28 pieces).
