Montegrappa Salvador Dali Fountain Pen.
The Montegrappa Salvador Dali fountain pen is the latest addition to the Genio Creative series from Montegrappa, following the Stradivari in 2007 and the Modigliani in 2008. Inspired by the work of the surrealist artist Salvador Dali and featuring miniature manifestations of his art work, the Montegrappa Salvador Dali pen has a figural elephant with its elongated legs running the length of the barrel. The sold silver and blue and pearl version is limited to 1000 fountain pens and 989 rollerballs. The pen is also available in solid gold. Montegrappa Brain Fountain Pen
Limited Edition Montegrappa Brain Fountain Pen.
To create the limited edition Montegrappa Brain the designers at Montegrappa drew inspiration from the brain itself. The cap of the pen representing the brain is rich and elaborate whilst the barrel of the pen is plain, illustrating a parallel to the human body, where all the riches are in the brain. Decorating the top of the cap is a cross section of the brain based on ancient drawings. The cap also features a figural overlay of neurons and the pocket clip, which is spring loaded, represents the spinal cord. To distinguish the fountain pen from the rollerball the pocket clips are inset with red and black lacquer respectively. Engraved on the 18crt gold nib fitted to the Montegrappa Brain fountain pen is the image of a sea horse, which is a reference to the hippocampus, a major component of the human brain. Omas pays tribute to the Cohiba cigar brand with the limited edition Omas Cohiba. Omas have selected Zinicote wood for its particular hues and close grained pattern and combined it with silver vermeil trim and an 18crt gold nib to create the Cohiba. The pen is supplied in a cedar box which can be used as a cigar box having been fitted with a humidor and hygrometer. The Cohiba cigar brand was founded in 1966 and to mark this there are 1000 fountain pens and 966 rollerball pens available with vermeil trim. A limited number of fourty Omas Cohiba fountain and sixteen roller ball pens are also available with 18crt gold trim. Penbox can supply all Omas pens.

Recently Caran d’Ache added the limited edition Caran d’Ache Buddha pen to its ‘Divinity’ collection of exceptional writing instruments which we have imaged above. The ‘Divinity’ collection from Caran d’Ache now includes the Ganesh (2007), Shiva (2009), Balaji (2011) and the Buddha pen (2012). These pens are produced in conjunction with the master jeweller Edourad Jud and largely by hand. This particular pen features silver overlay on a saffron lacquered barrel, a citrine jewel fitted to the cap finial which carries the Caran d’Ache name, and an 18crt nib. All Buddha fountain pens and rollerball pens are individually numbered. Production is limited to 108 fountain pens and 108 rollerballs.
