Graf von Faber-Castell Anello Fountain Pens
The Graf von Faber-Castell Anello fountain pens are available with barrels finished in ivory, black and grandilla wood. Platinum plated or rose gold metal rings separate the individual segments of the barrel. The barrels consists of segments of either grenadilla wood, ivory or black resin, whilst the caps, sprung pocket clip, gripping section and barrel terminal are platinum or rose gold plated. Brushed matt gold and titanium finished versions were produced in the past but are no longer available. Features include a sprung pocket clip, 18k gold/rhodium plated two tone nib, screw on cap, ink cartridge or ink converter filling system and all variants are presented in a wooden pen box. Since writing we understand that the rose gold version has also now been discontinued.
The GvFC writing collection is a range of pens and accessories of the very best quality which also includes a line of premium pencils with a replaceable eraser, a pocket clip and integrated sharpener (The Perfect Pencil). Materials used to produce their writing instruments include precious metals and high grade woods. Each year since 2003 they have also produced a limited edition fountain (The Pen of The Year).
GvFC Pen of The Year 2005
Founded in 1761, Graf von Faber-Castell developed into the largest graphite and coloured pencil crayon manufacturer in Europe. Long since they have also become know worldwide for their writing instruments of all types and since 2003 have been producing a limited edition collection of “Pen of The Years”. In 2005 we saw the production of a the Graf von Faber Castell Pen of The Year 2005 finished in stingray leather (Galuchat) in varying shades of olive and grey. Each fountain pen having a unique finish of olive green, ivory hues or anthracite grey nuances. An unusual feature of this pen is the platinum plated bridge that runs the length of the barrel along with the stingray leather finish.
As we type, seventeen years since its production in 2005, we have one of these unique fountain pens available at Penbox.

Since 2003 Graf von Faber Castell have produced a limited edition Pen of the Year. Every fountain pen being numbered and presented in a luxury pen box with papers a booklet and certificate. Here we have an image of the Graf von Faber Castell Pen of the Year 2016 which, after being in our stock room for three years, we have just listed for sale on our website. This one is the Special Edition Schönbrunn Pen of the Year 2016 with a gold finish (the pen was also produced in a platinum finish). We feel that this limited edition fountain pen, which is no longer available from GvFC, will not be available for long at this special price.

Since 2003 each year Graf von Faber Castell have produced a limited edition superior oversized fountain pen, each produced for one year only and referred to as the Pen of the Year by GvFC. Every pen being individually numbered and presented in an exclusive luxury gift box with papers, brochure, and a certificate certifying that the pen is produced for a limited period only. A large 18k two tone nib is the beating heart of these fountain pens.
Above we have photographed the Graf von Faber Castell Pen of the Year 2007 in petrified wood, which having recently obtained, we now have for sale at Penbox. The pen has never been filled and is as originally supplied from Graf von Faber Castell. We feel that this pen will not be available for long, especially at this price, so grab it whilst you can.

The barrel of the Graf von Faber Castell Intuition fountain pen is elegantly tapered to form the grip section just behind the nib. There are several finishes to select from, and a recent addition to the Intuition pen range is the Platino which being slightly larger than the standard Intuition with a platinum plated cap has extended the range even further. Some finishes are also available with high gloss or fluted barrels. All of these fountain pens come fitted with an 18k gold nib in a choice of widths. The new Graf von Faber Castell Pen of The Year 2011 is a combination of jade and platinum. In reference to the year when Faber-Castell was founded this limited edition pen is restricted to 1761 pens. The Pen of The Year 2011 uses Russian jade on the barrel and cap and is fitted with a two tone 18crt nib available in fine, medium or broad. This jewel of a pen is individually numbered and comes in a high gloss wooden case with papers. Penbox are now taking orders for The Pen of the Year 2011.
