These CF Waterman converters for the older Waterman CF fountain pens have recently arrived at Penbox having been found amongst the stock of a now closed UK stationery business.

Waterman first produced their CF cartridge filler fountain pen in the late 1950s but it was not until the 1970s that the pen became a best seller in Europe. The grip section was inlaid with metal trim along its length to cohere with the design of the semi hooded nib and the tapered design of the barrel and cap. Produced into the 1980s in a variety of finishes and having sold well, many Waterman CF fountain pens are still in regular use and treasured by their owners.

One thing to note is that CF ink cartridges are no longer available, and in the absence of having a converter, some owners have resorted to refilling an old ink cartridge with a syringe. So hang onto one of your old C. F. ink cartridges.
